Waiting

Tasha Muniz is a Navy Veteran who served on a nuclear aircraft carrier, air traffic control tower and was 8 months in the Mediterranean Sea. Upon her discharge from service she studied cyber security and raised her daughter.

Tasha has been living with chronic medical issues since her 20's. She has been diagnosed with Lupus and autoimmune disease that eventually damaged her kidneys. She has had permanent kidney failure for the past 2 years has been reliant on a dialysis machine to live.
Tasha is now waiting for a kidney transplant on the national list. However, the wait for a kidney from a deceased donor is over 5 years long. She may not survive that wait.

Healthy people, who are medically cleared, can donate a kidney and live a normal life with one kidney.
They can save a life with their donated kidney. Tasha is working with an organization (dovetransplant.org) supporting all prospective living donors who donate to Veterans on the wait list. All the costs related to the medical evaluation, travel and logistics are covered.

To learn more (confidentially) about donation please contact DOVE Transplant by clicking the link below or calling: 551-449-8319. If you are not able to donate please consider sharing this link in your community.
Thank you!
