STATUS:

Waiting

Reginald "Reggie" is also know by family as "Tracy" served in the Army for 24 years. He was trained as a Diesel Mechanic and was stationed in Germany, Korea and throughout the USA. He retired a a First Sergeant in 2001.

Currently, Reggie works for the US Postal Service and will retire this year (2023). He has been married to his wife, Kim, for 28 years and is blessed with 4 daughters, 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Veterans like Reggie have given so much to protect and serve our country. He now needs our community's help. Reggie is diagnosed with End-stage kidney disease. He has been placed on the wait list for a kidney transplant, however it may take over 5 years. A living kidney donor would enable Reggie to bypass that wait. Kidney donation is safe for those who are medically cleared. The testing is covered by Reggie's hospital and travel, lost wages or other costs can be covered by organizations such as Donor Outreach for Veterans (DOVE). Donors live normal lives with one kidney and can save a life with their other! Please reach out to DOVE by clicking the link below to learn more about kidney donation or call (551) 233-1611. Thank you!
