Rashaun Daniels is a 44-year-old Navy Veteran who served 12 years as a radio man and information systems specialist. He also was deployed to the Middle East, Europe and South America and did tours on both the USS Cole and the USS Karin.

After his military service, Rashaun received two bachelor’s degrees from ECPI University in Virginia – one in Business Administration and one in IT Management. He has been with Crest Food Service and Equipment Company for 11 years working in the Purchasing Department. They have been very understanding during Rashaun’s health issues and are allowing him to drop to 30 hours/week in order to take care of himself. Rashaun has diabetes and was diagnosed with kidney failure in 2010. After contracting COVID, his kidney failure accelerated to the point of needing dialysis, which leaves him mentally and physically fatigued.

Rashaun and his wife Naadira have been happily married for 22 years and raised one son. Rashaun loves to watch anything to do with sports, news or politics - and also enjoys visiting casinos!

With a kidney transplant, he would start traveling again and be able to work full-time at his job. Rashaun has enlisted the help of a Veteran's organization called DOVE Transplant which is helping in his outreach to find his life-saving kidney donor. DOVE will assist all prospective donors throughout the process and make sure they do not incur any out-of-pocket expenses related to the evaluation or surgery.

A healthy person can live a normal life with one kidney and save this Veteran's life! Please click on the link below if you would like to learn more OR call 551-449-8319.
