Patricia (Pat) Ruffin is a 59-year-old proud mom of three, and Air Force and Army Veteran who worked for the Department of Defense for 30 years after her discharge from service.
Despite having end stage kidney failure and relying on dialysis to survive, Pat continues to work as a tennis coach and substitute teacher.
She is a light for many on dialysis and during in-center treatments she sings and tries to make others smile.
Pat has received a living donation and can live the rest of her life dialysis free.
