Staff Sergeant Kristen Herman is originally from Hartshorn, Oklahoma. She joined the U.S. Army in 2007 as a human intelligence collector. Kristen's first tour was in Iraq from 2008-2009 and her 2nd tour was in Afghanistan from 2012 - 2013.
Kristen left the Army in 2020 to pursue a nursing career and now lives in Mullica Hill, NJ with her husband Mike and two children, Haley and Jackson. Kristen is currently active on the kidney transplant list after suffering an infection shortly after her son was born last year. Please help this mother of two find a kidney!
Kristen has enlisted the help of a Veteran's organization called DOVE Transplant which is helping in her outreach to find her life-saving kidney donor. DOVE will assist all prospective donors throughout the process and make sure they do not incur any out-of-pocket expenses related to the evaluation or surgery.
