Waiting

Meet Kori, a 37-year-old combat veteran, devoted mother of 5, and an integral part of her rural community in southeastern Washington state. Her active lifestyle has been abruptly halted by kidney disease, but her determination remains unbreakable.

Having served active duty in combat zones overseas, Kori and her husband have since established a small farm where they raise livestock. Their home is a sanctuary where they nurture their children and actively participate in community life, church activities, and various school engagements. The daily struggles of managing a family and undergoing nightly dialysis have hindered her ability to continue her career as a Veterinary Technician.

Yet, through all of this, Kori continues to demonstrate unwavering determination and strength. Her commitment to her children's activities, church involvement, and community engagement showcases her resilient character and unwavering spirit but still causes her to feel like an outsider.

We invite you to join us in our mission to find a kidney for Kori. Your support, whether through spreading the word on social media or considering becoming a donor, can make a profound impact on Kori's journey. Even the simple act of sharing her story can help amplify the message and bring us closer to finding a match.

Time is of the essence. Kori's story is one of bravery, resilience, and hope. Let's rally together to provide her with the chance to reclaim her active lifestyle, continue nurturing her family, and contributing to her community. Every action, big or small, can help us in our urgent quest to find a kidney for Kori.
