Jose Hinojos is a combat Veteran who served 3 ½ years in the US Navy during Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm and was trained as a Hospital Corpsman and Combat Medic. He worked in the US Supply Battalion during the conflicts and afterwards, taking inventories of returning supplies. He was at the Naval Air Station in Corpus Christie and worked in the hospital at Balboa Navy Hospital in San Diego, CA.

After his service, Jose worked in the VA Hospital in BIg Spring, TX and then at Spohn Hospital in Corpus Christie as an Anesthetic Technician for 2 years. He switched careers and worked as an Assistant Manager and Manager for Home Depot in many locations for the next 8 years. He ended up in Texas owning his own Independent Contracting Company as a Hot Shot for the Oil Fields. When his health began to fail, he needed to close his business.
