STATUS:

Waiting

Della Robinson is a 64 year old Veteran who served over 17 years in the United States Air Force until retiring as a Tech Sergeant. After leaving the military she continued on as a government contractor in the aerospace and logistics arena.
Della has been married for 29 years and her husband is also a USAF Veteran. They now live in Utah to be close to her son and grandchildren.

Della is a woman who has devoted her adult life to serving her country and her communities. She now needs our help. She suffers from kidney failure and relies on a dialysis machine to survive. Dialysis keeps her alive but limits her ability to travel and often takes a great toll on her body. Her best chance of living a longer life, without needing dialysis is to undergo a transplant. The wait for kidney from a deceased donor is several years long.
A living kidney donor would enable her to bypass that wait. Della is working with a Veteran's organization (DOVETransplant) that will support all prospective living donors throughout the evaluation, surgery and recovery process. The medical testing is covered by her hospital, costs related to travel, lost wages etc. can be covered by DOVE. To learn more, please click the link below or call (551) 233-1611. Thank you!
