We just received a donation from The Dennis Bligen Kidney Foundation (DBKF).
This donation is especially meaningful due to the history DOVE Founder & Director, Sharyn Kreitzer, has with both Dennis and his sister (and DBKF Director) Julie Childs. Dennis, a former New York Jets running back, was one of the first patients at the Mount Sinai Hospital to receive a transplant through paired kidney exchange. Dennis has given back in countless ways to the community since his transplant many years ago. His amazing family started DBKF in honor of Dennis and to support others coping with chronic kidney disease and to improve access to early kidney care particularly in high risk communities.
We are eager to collaborate and we thank DBKF for choosing DOVE as a partner in your efforts to end the waitlist for all!
