Veteran and Father Reflects on the Gift of Walking His Beloved Daughter Down the Aisle
Happy second kidneyversary to DOVE Team #6: Amanda and Jesus. Army/Navy Veteran and DOVE kidney recipient, Jesus Alvarez, shared these personal reflections, "I was just thinking of the last two years, ... everything is going great. My GFR is 60 and my creatinine is 1.5 ... After my transplant, I was able to walk my daughter down the aisle... None of this would be possible if it wasn't for our Heavenly Father, DOVE, and of course, my amazing donor sister, Amanda! I pray this year more teams will be formed!"
