Hayley Slaughter

Hayley is a mom of three young children and a military spouse who lives in Idaho. When she saw an article in Women's Day Magazine featuring another DOVE pair - she knew it was a sign and was her time to be a donor. She learned about kidney donation at a young age and always wanted to donate when the time was right. The ability to direct her kidney donation to a Veteran was very special. Hayley met her recipient, Candice Martin, the night prior to surgery. Candice is active duty and now can focus on her career in military, her yoga and her future.
