STATUS:

Waiting

Tyrell Kyle is a US Navy veteran who served 10 years and finished as an Aviation Ordnanceman Third Class. He oversaw the magazine (where ammunition is stored) in the bottom of the USS Carl Vinson and performed administrative duties on the USS Nimitz. He also managed bomb shelters at the Naval Air Station in Corpus Christi.

In 1999, Tyrell was discharged and for six years worked two jobs, one for UPS in logistics and dispatching and the other at Methodist Hospital in Houston in materials management. He moved over to Comcast Cable as a technician doing installations for hospitals and offices. Unfortunately, Tyrell began having heart issues, eventually requiring a heart transplant in 2017, and found himself on dialysis after waking up from surgery.

Tyrell and his wife, Tara, have been married for 2 years, and he has two adult children. He is an avid fisherman and enjoys working with youth and would like to get back to coaching and doing more traveling. With the gift of renewed health, he could do just that. Will you join us in our mission to find a kidney for Tyrell? Your support, whether through spreading the word on social media or considering becoming a donor, can make a profound impact on his life and the life of his family!

Tyrell has enlisted the help of a Veteran's organization called DOVE Transplant which is helping in his outreach to find his life-saving kidney donor. DOVE will assist all prospective donors throughout the process and make sure they do not incur any out-of-pocket expenses related to the evaluation or surgery.

A healthy person can live a normal life with one kidney and save this Veteran's life! Please click on the link below if you would like to learn more OR call (551) 233-1611.
