Following his discharge, Sid joined and ran a family entertainment business. He then become a Ferry Boat Captain and became an avid saltwater Fisherman. Sid found time always to give back - by serving as a Boy Scout Troop Leader. Due to his progressive kidney failure and reliance on dialysis, Sid could not continue to do many of the things he loves.
