STATUS:

Waiting

Staff Sergeant Sean McGuire served in the Air Force for over six years as acting security force for Strategic Air Command. He worked at Wurtsmith AFB in Oscoda, Michigan, and then was stationed on special assignment in Las Vegas for three of his years. He received an honorable discharge after his enlistment contract was completed.

Upon leaving the Air Force, Sean became a journeyman ironworker, working extremely hard for 30 years. He takes pride in knowing that he helped build the Detroit skyline and surrounding areas, auto plants, and bridges, as well as many other projects. Sean loves anything to do with the outdoors – fishing, hunting, camping, swimming, and boating.

Sean is married to his wonderful wife Lorie and loves to spend time with her, their three lovely daughters, and their nine-month-old grandson. Now in Stage 5 kidney failure, Sean is in desperate need of a living donor and is preparing to start dialysis. Will you join us in our mission to find a kidney for Sean? Your support, whether through spreading the word on social media or considering becoming a donor, can make a profound impact on his life and the life of his family!

Sean has enlisted the help of a Veteran's organization called DOVE Transplant which is helping in his outreach to find his life-saving kidney donor. DOVE will assist all prospective donors throughout the process and make sure they do not incur any out-of-pocket expenses related to the evaluation or surgery.

A healthy person can live a normal life with one kidney and save this Veteran's life! Please click on the link below if you would like to learn more OR call (551) 233-1611.
