STATUS:

Waiting

Sean Maculata-Turner served six years as a Civil Engineer in the United States Air Force and was stationed at Holloman Air Force Base in New Mexico. His job was to maintain the base and provide shelter for overseas personnel. The best part of being in the military was the lifelong friends he met and serving alongside the brave men and women of this country.

Sean was just 28 years old when he was diagnosed with kidney failure in 2020, only three years after leaving the military. He had to drop out of school and leave his job due to his dialysis schedule and the mental toll of five years on dialysis, along with the long-term prognosis of his kidney disease. Sean is interested in enrolling in a Cybersecurity Specialist program and getting back into the workforce to find purpose in his life once more.

With the gift of a kidney transplant, Sean would love to start traveling again, experiencing different cultures, and meeting new people. He wants to get back to hiking the National Parks across the United States. Sean is a young man with so much life ahead of him and would benefit greatly from having a living kidney donor. Will you join us in our mission to find a kidney for Sean? Your support, whether through spreading the word on social media or considering becoming a donor, can make a profound impact on his life and his future dream of having a family!

Sean has enlisted the help of a Veteran's organization called DOVE Transplant which is helping in his outreach to find his life-saving kidney donor. DOVE will assist all prospective donors throughout the process and make sure they do not incur any out-of-pocket expenses related to the evaluation or surgery.

A healthy person can live a normal life with one kidney and save this Veteran's life! Please click on the link below if you would like to learn more OR call (551) 233-1611.
