STATUS:

Waiting

Ronald Varano served in the United States Air Force from 1966 to 1969 at Malmstrom AFB in Great Falls, Montana. He was a military police officer assigned to the 341st Minuteman Missile Squadron. Following his service, Ron worked as a salesman in the corporate and real estate industries. Since his retirement, he has focused on enjoying life in coastal Delaware and spending time with his family and beautiful granddaughters.

Ron was diagnosed with CKD ten years ago and is now in dialysis due to the recent decline of his condition and progression of the disease. He is hopeful that a transplant will enable him to return to a more active lifestyle, quality of life, and grant him the time to make more memories with his family.

Will you join DOVE in our mission to find a kidney for Ron? Your support, whether through spreading the word on social media or considering becoming a donor, can make a profound impact on his life and the life of his family!

Ron has enlisted the help of a Veteran's organization called DOVE Transplant which is helping in his outreach to find his life-saving kidney donor. DOVE will assist all prospective donors throughout the process and make sure they do not incur any out-of-pocket expenses related to the evaluation or surgery.

A healthy person can live a normal life with one kidney and save this Veteran's life! Please click on the link below if you would like to learn more OR call (551) 233-1611.
