Rodney Ferguson served ten years in the Army, with his first four years as a Pershing Missile Crewmember, handling warhead attachments and field duty while stationed in Germany. He was deployed to Iraq in 1991 and chose to document combat, later producing recruiting films used for soldier training. Rodney spent a total of six years stationed in Germany and competed in short-distance track events for Team Army.

After leaving the military, Rodney entered sales in telecommunications and network marketing, eventually becoming an executive director. He relocated to Florida where he became enthusiastic about real estate until the market downturn. He then transitioned his skills into the insurance business, where he now enjoys helping veterans navigate medical insurance complexities.

Rodney is a devoted husband and father who has been battling kidney failure since 2020, following a heart attack and experiencing Covid. He manages his condition through peritoneal dialysis and faces its challenges daily. Rodney is an avid sports fan, particularly of Buccaneers football and track and field events. With the hope of receiving a kidney transplant, he looks forward to returning to activities like beach outings, cruises, and more workouts. Will you join us in our mission to find a kidney for Rodney? Your support, whether through spreading the word on social media or considering becoming a donor, can profoundly impact his life and that of his family!

Rodney has enlisted the help of a Veteran's organization called DOVE Transplant which is helping in his outreach to find his life-saving kidney donor. DOVE will assist all prospective donors throughout the process and make sure they do not incur any out-of-pocket expenses related to the evaluation or surgery.
