STATUS:

Waiting

Staff Sergeant Robert Reese is a 16-year veteran of the United States Air Force, serving as an Environmental Systems Specialist in the air conditioning, heating, and pressurization of aircraft. He was deployed for one year during the Vietnam War to Thailand, where he assisted in carrying ammunition and bombs. He enjoyed meeting new people and forming lifelong relationships, and he remains friends with many of them to this day.

After his military service, Bob earned an associate’s degree and worked as a corrections officer. He then worked at Sam’s Club for 20 years as a skilled meat cutter before the store closed. Bob moved on to another store and worked there until his kidney disease forced him to medically retire in 2023 at the age of 73. He is now reliant on dialysis for his survival but says it helps him move on with his life.

Bob and his lovely wife, Geraldine, have been married for 38 years and have two wonderful daughters and two granddaughters. He used to enjoy shooting pool, running, and jogging, and he would love to get back to doing it all again. Bob and Geraldine enjoy getting out, shopping, attending open houses, and sharing the Word of God with those they encounter. Will you join us in our mission to find a kidney for Bob? Your support, whether through spreading the word on social media or considering becoming a donor, can make a profound impact on his life and the life of his family!

Robert has enlisted the help of a Veteran's organization called DOVE Transplant which is helping in his outreach to find his life-saving kidney donor. DOVE will assist all prospective donors throughout the process and make sure they do not incur any out-of-pocket expenses related to the evaluation or surgery.

A healthy person can live a normal life with one kidney and save this Veteran's life! Please click on the link below if you would like to learn more OR call (551) 233-1611.
