Robert Lindberg was raised in Waukegan, Illinois, where he learned to work with wood and soloed in a plane on his sixteenth birthday. Right after graduating from high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and was shipped to Vietnam, serving in the Army Corps of Engineers XX.
After the war and his time in the military, Bob had a diverse career in early childhood education, alcohol and substance abuse counseling, and building houses. In his thirties, Bob answered the call to become an Episcopal priest, serving in various churches until his retirement in 2023. He now spends his time using his talents in his woodworking business.
Bob and his wife, Maryanne, have two grown children and reside in Swanzey, New Hampshire. Unfortunately, he is battling kidney disease and needs a kidney transplant. Will you join us in our mission to find a kidney for Bob? Your support, whether through spreading the word on social media or considering becoming a donor, can make a profound impact on his life and the life of his family!
Bob has enlisted the help of a Veteran's organization called DOVE Transplant which is helping in his outreach to find his life-saving kidney donor. DOVE will assist all prospective donors throughout the process and make sure they do not incur any out-of-pocket expenses related to the evaluation or surgery.
A healthy person can live a normal life with one kidney and save this Veteran's life! Please click on the link below if you would like to learn more OR call (551) 233-1611.
