STATUS:

Received - Deceased Donor

Pamela Naylor is a US Air Force Veteran who served for 14 years. Pam was diagnosed with FSGS (Focal Segmental Glomerular Sclerosis) while she was active duty. As her disease progressed, she was medically retired from service.
In 1998 Pam received a living related kidney transplant from her sister. She was blessed with a functioning transplant for over 18 years, however the kidney eventually started to shut down and she has been back on dialysis since 2021.

Pam describes herself as a Christian, a devoted family woman, and a helper. She has 5 adult children and currently has 1 son and goddaughter living in her home.
In the Air Force, Pam served in the department of Personal Affairs as a Casualty Representative. She ensured Veterans and their survivors received all the support and information they needed to secure their benefits. Pam continues to offer consultation to Veterans with questions about their eligiblity.

Veterans like Pam have sacrificed so much in service to their country and communities. Let us show our appreciation by stepping up to help them in their time of need.

Living kidney donation is safe for donors who are medically cleared and the evaluation is covered by the transplant center. Any out of pockets costs related to donation are covered by organizations such as DOVE or National Living Donor Assistance Center.
