STATUS:

Waiting

First, thank you for stopping by my site and reading my profile. I am Nathaniel “Nate” Houston, and unfortunately, I am in dire need of a kidney transplant. I am 46 years old, a veteran who served 14 years in the U.S. Army as an Apache Helicopter Crew Chief. I served in Iraq, Afghanistan, and other unnamed countries. I had the chance to serve all around the globe.

After leaving the military in 2014, I obtained my bachelor’s degree from Stayer University. I now work in the private aviation sector as a Customer Support Manager for Leonardo Helicopters in Philadelphia. I enjoy my job, which has its ups and downs.

I have two children: Nia, 21, and Bret, 18. He is currently applying to the United States Army to become a Rotary Wing pilot. Due to my low energy level, I cannot participate in many activities anymore. I am honestly praying for the gift of a living kidney donor so I can continue my life and be there for my kids. I pray all is well and wish you a great day.

Will you join DOVE in our mission to find a kidney for Nate? Your support, whether through spreading the word on social media or considering becoming a donor, can make a profound impact on his life and the life of his family!

Nathaniel has enlisted the help of a Veteran's organization called DOVE Transplant which is helping in his outreach to find his life-saving kidney donor. DOVE will assist all prospective donors throughout the process and make sure they do not incur any out-of-pocket expenses related to the evaluation or surgery.

A healthy person can live a normal life with one kidney and save this Veteran's life! Please click on the link below if you would like to learn more OR call (551) 233-1611.
