"I am blessed to have an amazing wife and two beautiful and energetic children. A transplant would enable me to continue working full-time and give me the best shot of being around to watch my kids grow."

Karl Ingram is married and father of two toddlers, ages 1 and 3. He grew up in a small town in Nebraska and was the recipient of a 4-year scholarship for Army ROTC at the University of Nebraska.

Karl was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant and stationed at Fort Riley with the 1st Brigade. His unit was deployed to Afghanistan in 2012 and he served as Alpha troop’s executive officer. Since his discharge from service, Karl continues to serve Veterans and is employed as a social worker at his local community mental health center.

Karl has an autoimmune disease that has permanently damaged his kidneys. His doctors state dialysis is imminent unless he is able to find a living kidney donor.

Veterans like Karl have risked their lives on behalf of our country. Let us help Karl get his health back and enjoy a higher quality of life through the gift of kidney donation. Contact DOVE to learn how.
