Damon is a post-9/11 combat Veteran who currently serves as a detective at a local police department in Washington State. This humble Veteran is married with six children was medically retired after serving 11 years in the Army due to being diagnosed with kidney disease.

Jon Postawa - a detective from the department Damon works at - stepped up to be his living kidney donor. The transplant was on July 15, 2021, and both have fully recovered and are back to full duty. Be a hero. Save a hero. Be a DOVE Donor.
