STATUS:
Waiting
Hello, my name is Clyde Thomason. I am a Navy veteran of the Vietnam conflict. I served 6 years as a Machinist Mate, both active and inactive reserve, enjoying the thought that I was serving the country I love.
Upon being honorably discharged, I went to the Community College of Philadelphia. After exploring a number of employment opportunities, I landed at Honeywell in Fort Washington for 20 years, and then worked at the Department of Corrections for 9 more years. I am now retired.
I am married to a wonderfully caring woman, and together we have had 6 children, though one has passed away. We have 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. I love each one and really enjoy spending time with them.
I have been an ordained minister since 1999. I love God and His Word, doing my part to help build His kingdom here on Earth. I was diagnosed with renal failure in 2016, and I have been on dialysis since 2018. I am seriously in need of a kidney donor to come forward to help me live and continue to be a positive voice in the community.
Will you join DOVE in our mission to find a kidney for Clyde? Your support, whether through spreading the word on social media or considering becoming a donor, can make a profound impact on his life and the life of his family!
Clyde has enlisted the help of a Veteran's organization called DOVE Transplant which is helping in his outreach to find his life-saving kidney donor. DOVE will assist all prospective donors throughout the process and make sure they do not incur any out-of-pocket expenses related to the evaluation or surgery.
A healthy person can live a normal life with one kidney and save this Veteran's life! Please click on the link below if you would like to learn more OR call (551) 233-1611.
