Beverly Gravely dedicated her life to the military and as a public servant. She served 8 years in the Army Reserves as a Personnel Specialist and is still serving as a Newark Police Officer in New Jersey for the past 24 years. Beverly started her police work in New York before settling in at Newark and plans to retire after her 25 years of service.
Beverly has been diagnosed with polycystic kidney disease (PKD) a genetic kidney disease. A kidney transplant gives her the best hope to live life free from dialysis and give her better health to continue working and be there for her two pit bulls – Bernie and Koda.
Beverly has a wonderful group of lady friends that have been there to love and support her along the way and does not know what she would do without them!
